Alyssa Broatch is a certified Physician Assistant who recently received her MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been accepted into the Healthfront new-graduate mentorship program and will be orienting in the ED for several months before beginning her professional Physician Assistant practice here in the ED in winter 2019.
Originally from Connecticut, Alyssa decided to pursue a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree after receiving her BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Hartford. During her education, she participated in a variety of clinical rotations in the greater Boston area. She has previously worked as certified nurse’s assistant and telemetry technician, has volunteered at a free health clinic in Boston, and has participated in various research projects related to prosthetic limbs and failure modes of orthopedic surgical procedures. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys mountain biking, skiing, sailing, yoga, and hanging out with her dog, Thule.
