Dr. Kathryn Egly is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician who moved to New Mexico after working for several years in Springfield, Missouri. Dr. Egly grew up in Albany, New York and decided to attend medical school at Albany Medical College after completing her undergraduate degree in psychology at State University of New York. After receiving her M.D., Dr. Egly completed her residency at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, Virgina.
Prior to becoming an Emergency Medicine physician, Dr. Egly worked as an ED tech, clinical instructor, and an associate professor of Emergency Medicine at academic centers on the East Coast. Her clinical interests include emergency ultrasound, resource utilization, palliative care, medical education, management of time sensitive diagnoses, and much more. She enjoys volunteering her medical services to various causes, and has served as the medical officer for a variety of professional equestrian events. She is married with two children and in her free time enjoys horseback riding, crochet, and spending time with her family.
