Madeline Spence is a certified Physician Assistant who recently received her MS in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has been accepted into the Healthfront new-graduate mentorship program will be orienting in the ED for several months before beginning her professional Physician Assistant practice in early 2019.
Originally from Sandia Park, NM, Madeline decided to pursue a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree after receiving her BS in Biology from the University of New Mexico. During her education, she participated in a variety of clinical rotations around the state. She has previously worked as an ED scribe in Albuquerque, has volunteered at the Agora Crisis Center, and was an active participant in the UNM PA Student society. In her free time, Madeline enjoys travel, skiing, and hiking with her partner and dog.
