HealthFront Emergency Physician Assistant since 2024
Physician Assistant Program: Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY
Claire Antoszewski is a board certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College's PA program and then worked for two and a half years in the Emergency Department at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, a Level 1 trauma center in the Bronx, NY. She is certified in ACLS, PALS and ATLS.
Prior to enrolling in PA school Claire qualified as a wilderness EMT, something that sparked an on-going interest in how medicine is practiced outside the hospital setting, especially in remote and under-served areas. She did a fellowship in wilderness medicine through the Wilderness Medical Society.
Although Claire's primary focus is emergency medicine, she is also interested in the impact animals have on health and quality of life. She has researched the benefits of service dogs for people with conditions ranging from diabetes, hypertension, and epilepsy to mobility and psychiatric disorders.
