The Santa Fe Regional Emergency Communications Center has existed since 2002 as the result of a “Joint Powers Agreement” between the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County. The RECC receives all police, fire, medical and animal control Emergency 911 calls and non-emergency calls for the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County and dispatches the appropriate agency to the location as needed. The Center operates on a 24/7/365 schedule.
HealthFront physicians are honored to serve as medical directors for this and other first responder services within Santa Fe County and the surrounding areas. We strongly believe that sound medical direction translates to better health outcomes, lives saved, and improved job satisfaction and workforce retention within our EMS community. As medical directors, we are actively involved in daily operations, oversight, quality, and training of the first responders who ensure the ongoing safety and wellbeing of our communities.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911.
