Dr. Jonathan Severy is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician who moved to New Mexico after finishing his residency in Louisville, Kentucky. Originally from Aspen, Colorado, Dr. Severy trained at the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine after graduating with a degree in Philosophy and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado- Boulder. 

Dr. Severy’s previous medical experience includes training as an EMT and a mental health aide in Colorado, and traveling to Haiti and rural Mexico to assist with acute medical care and provide instruction to local doctors in current clinical practices. He has published research in the fields of Ultrasound detection of external pacemakers and Lipid emulsion therapy for beta-blocker toxicity.  In his free time, Jon enjoys reading, writing, being outside, and spending time with his three children and his partner, Caroline.
