Dr. John Kah is a board certified emergency medicine physician who moved to New Mexico after completing his residency in Buffalo, New York. Originally from Dallas, TX, Dr. Kah trained in Doctor of Medicine program at the University Of Washington in Seattle, WA after graduating with degrees in both Zoology and Philosophy from Washington State University in Pullman, WA.

 Dr. Kah previously served in the United States Air Force as a weather forecaster and observer.  He was stationed in Qatar after completing basic training in at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Kah has a variety of professional interests; he has participated in and published research on the impact of smear microscopy and observed therapy results in TB patients in Kenya, and completed the Ultrasound Scholarly Track at his residency program in Buffalo, New York. He has also volunteered his time to assist refugees and other underserved populations in the United States and around the world.

Dr. Kah is fluent in Spanish and has traveled extensively in Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.  In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and his dog. He also enjoys hiking, martial arts, travel, and the great outdoors.
