Dr. Dane Abruzzo is a board eligible Emergency Medicine Physician who recently completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Originally from Albuquerque, Dr. Abruzzo received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of New Mexico. He has worked clinically at many of the large hospitals in northern New Mexico and volunteered his time with various humanitarian organizations both in the US and abroad.    

Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Abruzzo worked as an ED Tech, Medical Assistant, and as a paramedic with the Santa Fe Ski Patrol. He has a variety of clinical interests, including wilderness medicine, medical curriculum development, and adaptive sports. A proud husband and father of one, Dane also enjoys skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing, and ceramics.
